Updating Your Payment Method or Canceling
Life changes — a card expires, a project wraps up, budgets shift. Managing your ScanCardPro billing is meant to be simple and pressure-free. Here is how to update your payment method, cancel if you need to, and what happens to your contacts either way.
Updating your payment method
To change the card on file:
- Open your account settings and find the billing section.
- Choose Update payment method.
- Enter your new card details in our secure checkout and save.
Your next renewal will use the new card automatically. It is a good idea to update before your renewal date so there is no interruption to your service.
If a payment fails
If a charge does not go through — usually an expired or replaced card — you will be notified so you can update your details. Your account and contacts are not deleted over a failed payment; you simply update the card and continue where you left off.
Canceling your subscription
You can cancel any time from your account's billing section — there is no phone call or hoops to jump through. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew again after that.
What happens to your contacts
This is the important part: your contacts live in your own Google Sheet, so they are yours no matter what. Canceling ScanCardPro does not touch that spreadsheet. You keep every name, email, and phone number you have scanned, right there in your Google Drive.
Coming back later
If you cancel and return down the road, just sign in again and pick a plan. Your Google Sheet is still connected and waiting, so you can resume scanning immediately — nothing to rebuild.
