1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ScanCardPro.com, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

ScanCardPro.com is a web-based business card scanning and contact management service that integrates with Google Sheets. The Service provides:

• Business Card Scanning: Scan business cards from your phone or upload photos using any device with a camera
• AI-Powered Text Recognition: Automatic text extraction using Google's AI technology to recognize names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, companies, job titles, and social media links
• Google Sheets Integration: Contact data saves directly to your Google Sheets - portable and ready to export anywhere
• Contact Organization: Create custom categories/tabs to organize contacts (Clients, Vendors, Leads, etc.)
• Data Management: Edit, fix, and swap contact fields before saving to ensure accuracy
• Multi-Device Access: Mobile-friendly web interface accessible from any device
• Secure Authentication: Sign in with Google OAuth 2.0 (no password required)

2.2 Pricing and Free Trial

• Free Trial: 10 free scans when you first create an account
• Monthly Subscription: $9.99 per month for unlimited scans
• Yearly Subscription: $59.00 per year for unlimited scans (save 50%)
• No Hidden Fees: Prices include all features - no per-scan charges or surprise fees
• Cancel Anytime: No long-term contracts or cancellation fees

2.3 How the Service Works

1. Open Site: Visit ScanCardPro on your phone or device with a camera
2. Sign In with Google: Authenticate using your Google account
3. Create Google Sheet: Name your spreadsheet and you're ready
4. Tap Scan: Hit the scan button to open your camera and capture a business card
5. AI Reads Card: Our AI extracts contact information automatically
6. Review & Save: Verify the information and save to your Google Sheet
7. Export Anywhere: Your contacts are in Google Sheets - export to any CRM or email platform

2.4 Required Permissions

To use the Service, you must grant the following Google permissions:

• Email Address & Profile: For account identification and authentication
• Google Drive (Limited): To create and manage only the Google Sheets we create for you

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your Google Account settings, which will disconnect the Service.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must sign in using a valid Google account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• You may not share your account with others
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Subscription and Billing

4.1 Free Trial

• New users receive 10 free scans when they first create an account
• No credit card required to use free scans
• No time limit - use your 10 free scans whenever you want
• Full access to all features during your free scans
• Subscribe for unlimited scans when you're ready

4.2 Paid Subscription

• Subscription fee: $9.99 per month (or $59 per year)
• Billed monthly or yearly in advance
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before next billing cycle
• Cancel anytime - no cancellation fees
• Access continues until the end of your current paid period after cancellation

4.3 Payment Terms

• All fees are in US dollars
• All sales are final - No refunds, no prorated refunds, no exceptions
• You are responsible for all taxes related to your subscription
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

4.4 Cancellation Policy

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Monthly subscriptions: After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current monthly billing period
• Yearly subscriptions: After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current yearly billing period
• No refunds or prorated credits are provided upon cancellation
• Your subscription will not renew after the current period ends
• Your data in Google Sheets remains yours and is unaffected by cancellation

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Upload or scan inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Use the Service to harvest or collect information without consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

6. Content and Data

6.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you upload
• You grant us a limited license to process your content for the Service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan and store contact information
• You must comply with applicable privacy laws regarding contact data

6.2 Data Processing

• Images are temporarily processed and immediately deleted
• Contact data is stored in your personal Google Sheets
• We do not sell or share your contact data with third parties
• We maintain logs for security and debugging purposes only

7. Google Integration

Our Service integrates with Google services. By using our Service:

• You authorize us to access your Google Sheets on your behalf
• You understand that Google's Terms of Service also apply
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings
• We comply with Google API Services User Data Policy
• We only access the minimum necessary Google services to provide our Service

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 Our Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ScanCardPro.com and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

8.2 Your Rights

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

10. Service Availability and Modifications

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance or updates
• We are not liable for any loss due to service unavailability

• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• We will provide reasonable notice of any significant changes
• Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of changes

11.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCANCARDPRO.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding $100 or the amount paid to us in the last 12 months

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ScanCardPro.com, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content or data
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@scancardpro.com or through account settings.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended period of inactivity (12 months)
• Request by law enforcement

13.3 Effect of Termination

• Voluntary cancellation: Access continues until the end of your current paid billing period
• Termination by us: Access ceases immediately for Terms violations or fraudulent activity
• We may delete your account data 30 days after subscription end date
• Contact data in your Google Sheets will remain unaffected and accessible through Google
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

14. Governing Law and Disputes

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

• You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us
• If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• Small claims court actions are exempt from arbitration
• You agree to individual arbitration only, not class actions

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ScanCardPro.com regarding the use of the Service.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
